HOW DO I HELP

I specialize in Evidence-Based treatments

  • Evidence-based treatment in therapy refers to using psychological approaches that have been scientifically tested and shown to be effective. These methods are grounded in research, clinical expertise, and client needs. Therapists draw on proven interventions—such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based techniques—to help clients achieve meaningful, lasting change. This ensures treatment is not only compassionate but also effective and backed by strong evidence.

  • CBT is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all interact. How you think about a situation or problem is going to affect how you feel. How you feel in turn affects what you do and where you are comfortable and at ease.

  • ACT aims to help people identify their core values, live more in the moment, accept thoughts and feelings without judgment, and live in a way that aligns with their values.

  • DBT aims to help people better manage their emotions, especially those that are painful, and to decrease conflict in their interpersonal relationships.

  • CPT is a specific type of CBT that has been shown to be effective in reducing the negative symptoms of PTSD, by helping to challenge and modify unhelpful beliefs related to the trauma.
